Introduction

What I really like about this juxtaposition is that it portrays the history of poses. In the earlier days, most of the pictures painted showed women sitting up straight and looking very sophisticated. However, in the more recent pictures painted, it is more fun and interesting for the model to be striking a pose that is different and unexpected.
